Cornell lights beat Penn and Harvard at Penn to secure both the Matthews Trophy and Leonard Cup last weekend.

Cornell is typically at a disadvantage relative to other crews except Dartmouth because Ithaca is cold which means less water time before racing starts (I remember cutting blocks of ice out of the inlet during spring break to free up a channel to row) but the first varsity 8 looks to be very fast this year.

Now you need to toss in a couple buckets of water before rowing off. Lake level is low.

Nice win over #2 Princeton yesterday.

Beat Columbia over the weekend.  Usually MIT also features in this race but after getting knocked around for years they've decided to go DIII instead.

But stick with D1 caliber sports pranks. Making steam spew from the earth - the sidelines of the Yale-Harvard game - was classic.

Cornell sweeps Dartmouth.. Albeit in an earlier race, Cornell's B and C boats best the time for Dartmouth's varsity.  Next stop - Eastern Sprints.  LGR!

Congratulations National Champions!  After disappointment in the Eastern Sprints, Cornell 8+ takes gold at the IRAs, 4+ takes bronze and 4- seventh.  Combined, they are the overall point winner in the Lightweight category.

Finally, a team national championship for Cornell in 2018-19 to go along with our individual wrestling success for Yianni Diakomihalis '21. And what else this past year that Cornell won? Polo men and women I believe made it to the nation semifinals, two steps shy of the crowns.

Two athletes from the women's track team will be at the NCAA championships this week.  https://cornellbigred.com/news/2019/5/25/womens-track-field-womens-track-and-field-concludes-competition-at-ncaa-prelims.aspx?path=wtrack

Thanks for these updates.  I was on the freshman lightweight team in '90-'91 and really enjoyed it.  I had to work the following years, so I was unable to have any part in the National Championship team the next year (not that I would have been in the first boat).  It is great to hear how well they have done over the last few years.

Here's the video from Sunday.  Lightweight 8+ Varsity coverage begins at about 2:57.10.

Interesting Row2k interview with lightweight rower Tristan Wiese.

As someone who was only able to row as a freshman due to having to work during my remaining years, it is interesting to hear Tristan's experiences and what he has learned.

Without Wasting further time, We have  best Lacrosse rebounders 2020 suggested 10 Best Lacrosse Rebounders which we prescribe to our understudies in our University, Giving out the entirety of my involvement with t his article! Peruse till the end, To Pick one best for you.

EZ Goal is the Number 1 Rebounder and most selling rebounders in the market, We gave it this spot, Because of not many reasons. In spite of the fact that EZ Goal offers two rebounders in the market, We have picked the most selling one.

This must be a new training technique.  We didn't use lacrosse rebounders when I was on the lightweight crew team in the early 90's.  ;)
