I know this has been covered before, but which alumni besides Nash and Ryan played in the NHL this year?  Just Moulson?

Far as I know, only those three. Would be nice to see some of the younger guys get some coffee next season.

I am very surprised Greening didn't stick.  He seemed to be the classic example of a Manderville-like defensive forward who could have a long career.

Edit: He is 33, now.  (Damn, we're getting old.)  I guess that ship has sailed.

Moulson didn't play in the NHL this year. Jacob MacDonald played two games though.

dbilmes posted this a couple of weeks ago but it's a cool story about where Moulson is (in hockey and in life) https://theathletic.com/903657/2019/04/04/sunny-disposition-how-matt-moulsons-exile-to-an-ahl-team-in-southern-california-rekindled-his-enjoyment-of-hockey/

Interestingly, Joakim Ryan had only about 4 minutes of ice time in the first three periods last night, probably most of that if not all being in the first period.  But, he was out there fairly regularly in overtime, ending with 9:34 played.  And he was +1, being on ice for the game winner.

Ryan is actually one of the more underrated players on the Sharks. He just doesn't play a lot because that Top-4 is so good. Tough to get ice when you have 3-4 guys playing 25-30 minutes a night.

I noticed that, too, and second what coz said - but it was great to see him out there providing some relief for the doubtless-gassed top 4 and holding his own.

I heard his name called early in the first period of Friday night's game.  No points for him on the night, but he was still on the ice.

Ryan was actually on the ice for two goals last night.  His D partner at the time, Justin Braun, got beaten for the first Colorado goal.  In the second period Joakim was on the ice when Kevin Labanc gave the Sharks a 3-2 lead.
