From that ECAC link, I didn't know about this.  Could be interesting (and nicely indexed):  http://www.ecachockey.com/men/Radio_Show/index

It looks like they built a new arena in Füssen since I watched a game there in 1977. I guess that I should not be surprised since that rink was open on one end.

Is Füssen the town near Neuschwanstein?  I have vague memories of driving an insane mountain road to get there but it was almost 20 years ago.

Yes. That is why I was staying there. There were signs up that there was hockey game being played in the evening, so I decided to go. The local team was playing a team from Italy. I was shocked to find out that recent RPI grad Dino Serra was on the Italian team. News of former players didn't get around in 1977 as it does now. :-)

I don't recall roads around Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, but you must be right. I do remember a few days earlier visiting a schoolmate of my mother who was living in the vicinity of Bad Tölz and he drove me up a winding alpine road at some ridiculous speed. I didn't think that I would survive that trip.

I think that this is getting a bit off topic.:-D

You've posted on this Forum long enough to know that there's no such thing as "off topic." ;-)
