Interesting not one word pre-season about the two highly-touted freshmen, QB Harley Kirsch and RB Harold Coles.

It's good to know that we will be opening "a promising 2016 campaign" and "There is every reason to believe 2016 will continue the Big Red on an upward trajectory".  but hey we "led the Ancient Eight in net punting".  Is there any more certain indicator of future success?

All joking aside, hopefully the team plays well tomorrow and starts climbing out of the hole the program has dug for itself.

Can someone explain to me how our last two games being win/loss constitute an upward trajectory?

Al,

According to this thread:

Kirsch missed the whole preseason with some kind of injury and is just now cleared to practice.

I'll stick by my guess that this staff needs at least 3-4 wins to be retained.  And that sets a pretty low bar to meet.

Relative to Election '16, these are virtual statements of fact.

OMG! After Nov. 8, at least half* the PR people working on the presidential campaigns will be out of work and may look for jobs in college athletic offices. The dark side is that the lies will become even more outrageous (e.g., "Cornell sets out to win another Ivy League championship"). The bright side is that an influx of such professional hucksters would lead to real change, such as not reprinting twice the part about "Storied Rivalries."

*"At least" because the minor parties, Libertarian & Green, must have some PR types too. Given the example of Libertarian candidate Johnson's clueless answer about Aleppo, they sure could use some.

Or just letting go of the overused "battle of the 'Nells."

10-10 tie at the half despite nine Cornell penalties.  Walker running very effectively.  Bucknell receives to start second half.
