Adam is a great guy. you know squat. keep your mouth shut if you don't have anything of value to say. why jinx your team by selecting them to win it all? i value his opinion (which he already said to put little thought into as he was forced to make selections) more for the mere fact that he tried to be objective and not have his heart could his predictions.

I don't know if I'm even going to pick Cornell to win it all in my office pool, even though for the first time since I knew what hockey was they actually have a decent shot.  Do you honestly think Adam doesn't believe Cornell is capable of winning it all, and want them to do it?  Let a guy hedge his karmic bets already.

Amen.  I didn't pick Cornell in my brackets either (my supersticious nature that comes with being a Red Sox fan wouldn't let me), but it doesn't mean that I don't want them to win it all.  On the contrary, I'm praying that they do, if for no other reason that so I can stretch my "bodily self-abuse threshhold" even further than I did in Albany...

Do I want them to win and will I be pulling for them? Of course.
