Jason Moy has placed BU in Manchester. I was thinking BU might be a good fit in Providence.  Yale gets Miami in all likelihood so attendance might favor Yale and Miami in Providence rather than Manchester. Jason didn't mention why he has BU there, but it makes for BC BU potential in the second round. BU in Providence could avoid this.

Off topic: Is the Moy on Harvard a relation of Jason?

PC really got a generous gift.

Yes, neither Adam nor Jason guessed this would happen.

Harvard and QPAC both get thrown out west.  They were predicted east by Jason and Adam and when I made my guesses,  too.

Harvard probably got a better matchup than they bargained for. UNO has been staggering for a while now and seem to be the worse team. Of course, weirder things have happened.

The last paragraph is strange.  The regionals are already announced for 2016.

Lake Placid, er, no, Albany is one of the hosts.

ECAC gets 3 slots, not bad (Hockey East, too). Harvard if it gets past Nebraska Omaha gets #1 seed Minnesota State (or RIT). Quinnipac opens with #2 North Dakota, Yale with #3 BU. Both BU and BC have regionals in the Northeast/East and then finals at Boston Garden.

Midwest South Bend (winner plays Northeast winner in semis)
Minnesota St.
RIT
Omaha
Harvard

Northeast Manchester
Miami
Providence
Denver
Boston College

East Providence
Boston Univ.
Yale
Minn.-Duluth
Minnesota

West Fargo
North Dakota
Quinnipiac
Michigan Tech
St. Cloud State

how would the brackets have changed had they had the new rule of no regional implemented?  I would think they would still try to avoid first round gamea against same league stuff.

Well, at least it's theoretically possible to get all 3 to the Frozen Four.  **]

Unfortunately the Boston Garden you're thinking of was torn down in 1996.

Unfortunately, the BU and BC men's hockey teams were not inside at the time.

Don't they call the new bankster POS "the Garden," too?

(Granted that there will never be another.  The largest rat I ever saw was at the old Gahden.  No, it wasn't Cleary.)

It was bigger than Cleary?!

Yes they do, just not the Boston Garden. The Fleet Center became the TD Garden. This is the "new" Boston Garden.
