Quote from: dbilmesWeidener and Buckles scored Friday against Union, so this group has given us 2 goals so far.

And that seems to be where it will stand until next weekend with the looks of things.

Freschi's game-winning goal against Harvard lifted this group's total to 3. It's quality, not quantity! Buckles scored against Dartmouth on Saturday, making it 4 goals in 4 games for this group.

He will accomplish more in his life. And still, if that's his 15 minutes, Freschi has done well.

Bliss's game-winner against Colgate makes it two Friday nights in a row one of these players has scored the GWer! None of them scored Saturday, though, so that gives them 5 goals in 6 games.

For those of you who care, Wiedner's empty-netter Saturday against Princeton gives this group 6 goals in 8 games since this poll was posted. That is about the same rate they'd been scoring in the first half of the season.

No one in this group scored over the weekend, so they're stuck at 6 goals in 10 games now since we lost Lowry for the season. For those of you following the thread about how nice it would be to be averaging one more goal a game, this group's lack of production is one of the main reasons why our goal scoring is so low. It was nice to see Kubiak and Fiegl score their first goals of the year, but neither one is in this group.

Tschantz scored against Union on Saturday night, giving this group 7 goals in 13 games. Considering that this group scored 11 goals in the first 30 games, it doesn't look like they're going to match that production. Most participants in this poll thought they would score more goals, with the largest group predicting they would score more than 20. If they had, that would have been our solution to the one more goal per game. Unfortunately, it failed to materialize.

Actually 12, since we're going to go to three games in each of our first two ECAC playoff series.

So if they continue at their current pace, might we expect another 6-7 goals? The team does seem to be playing better, so there is a chance to best this. But playoff games are generally tighter and scoring somewhat less.
