Cornell lightweight 8+ loses by 1/2 length to Oxford Brookes University 'A' at Henley.  This is an open class and they've been racing against heavyweights.  The winning time of 6:25 was the best yet posted in this year's Temple Cup.  It must have been quite a race. Outstanding year,  Big Red.

Oxford Brookes University 'A' beat Brown by 2 3/4 lengths with a time of 6:29 to take the Temple Challenge Cup.  So Cornell came within a 1/2 length, less than 2 seconds, of the eventual winner.
