Idaho Steelheads Hockey Fans Sue Over Size of Beer

To be fair, it's almost the same amount of beer, but not quite. You can see it pretty clearly in the second part of the video, with the dyed water. The liquid goes up to the very top of the small beer, but "only" to the first ring on the large beer. Assuming both cups are filled similarly (either to the very top or to the top of their respective first rings), you'd be getting a bit more in a large beer. I have no idea if it's enough to ward off the fraud suit or whatever it is. IANAL.

I don't have knowledge about civil fraud that's as in-depth as I'd like, but when you charge 75% more for a large than for a small, the perception is that you're likely to (or should) be getting at least 75% more beverage, if not closer to 100% more (volume discount). So whatever a "bit" ends up being, it's certainly not meeting the reasonable expectations of the drinking public.

Oh, I don't know about that -- not at a place like a sports arena. I would actually assume I'm getting less bang for my buck, and that the reason I'd do that is to save on trips to the bar (since each one means I'm missing valuable game time). (I would also assume I'm being ripped off at every turn, but that it's part of the cost of the event.)
