Ryan O'Bryne has been listed on his last year's junior team site as 6-3 205, then on this year's team's site as 6-4 200, and now on the Central Scouting midterm report as 6-5 192.  If this keeps up he will arrive on campus looking like Manute Bol.

Sounds like Dr. Atkins got to him.;-)

Sounds like a tapeworm got to him.  Get that boy and egg and a cookie.

How many of you LOST weight as a freshman? A few trips to the hot truck and pizza delivered in and.......high calorie liquids.....I don't think you have to worry about him.  :-P

Beth asks:

I lost ten pounds.  (NB: I lived on North, and thus rarely went to Hot Truck.)

I lost 10, too, also living on North (as an engineer).  Trend?  I also didn't drink and joined a varsity sports team for the first time since middle school cross country.  It was a great time: 19 year old metabolism + very active lifestyle = eat whatever you want and never gain weight.  Mmmm....RPU fried cheese.....

I gained 15#, but starting at 6'0" and 147# that wasn't such a bad thing.

I gained 25 pounds in each of my first two years  ::help::

I lost weight my freshman year, despite an 18 year old drinking age, a bar in the basement of Noyes Center 60 yards from my dorm room, and CornellCard.

It's amazing what hurrying between the CommArts center and the Ag Quad 4 times per day M-Th can do for you.

Ditto to Matt's situation, although there were numerous stops at Louie's for a steak and onion on a roll.
