Polls and Such 11/19

Tied at 10th on PairWise. Last time we were this high up was probably 2007-08 (not really sure about this). If we beat Niagara on Tuesday and BU on Saturday, I'm going to throw the biggest afterparty in NYC.

Edit: I might be thinking 05-06.

If I remember correctly during the 2008-2009 season we did not lose a game until after Thanksgiving when we played North Dakota. After splitting with them I think we had another long winning streak. I believe we were first in the early PWR due to not have any losses and we even received a few 1st place votes in the USCHO poll due to that high ranking.

Just let's keep it simple and not try to get too fancy. We need to get pucks on net and bodies in front of their goalie.

Up to 17th in the USCHO poll. Kinda surprised there's so little upward movement in a weekend with two 4-0 shutouts.

At the end of the day, polls don't mean anything because it's all about the PairWise.

Technically, that's only for pre-season polls, but I don't think we've had the annual posting this year.

Very true, doesn't mean the recognition isn't nice. Let's just be glad they aren't using KRACH because PWR rates us much more favorably.

Which itself only matters one day a year.

Just win (preferably in April) and the rest takes care of itself.
