Bryan just had a 103 yd kickoff return for a TD.  Nice run.

(Also, it's Bryan.)
You've got to scroll down now because more game highlights were added on time. I have to say, that was as slow a kickoff return TD I think I've ever seen. I hope he sticks, though.

The San Diego Radio call of the play has been getting some airtime on Sirius NFL Radio today. "Go Big Red, Go Cornell". I'll look around later this weekend to see if I can find the link to that.

I didn't expect this thread to run so long. Guess it's about time to get his name right.  Trotsky - does three edits for a twelve word post set the record?::nut::

Depends what the edit rule was.

For all my snark up thread, I am really happy for Walters and for Cornell. Sorry that he has to play for Norv, though. No good comes of playing for Norv Turner.

I did a fantasy football team for the firs time, because some friends needed another team to make it even.  I think it's a stupid hobby (no offense), so I couldn't help taking the opportunity to pick Bryan Walters as the last pick.  Wouldn't surprise me at all if he becomes a decent slot receiver, though.  He seems to catch the the ball when it comes to him and supposedly he runs good routes.  If he is willing to get hit, he has all the traits needed at that position.

Now if only I could have found a way to draft Kevin Boothe.

Nice start to the season: Walters was the Chargers' only punt returner (though he didn't do anything all that interesting on paper; longest return was 13 yards) and had two catches for 21 yards in a 24-17 win.
