Great win for the Women, very very strong play and a pleasure to watch. The faithful were in fine voice, the clearly smelling blood in the water. On to the Frozen 4.

On a different topic there appeared to be 2 separate redcast feeds. One was the feed with play by play that we all know and loath. The other was a closer shot with the just the sounds of Lynah with better color balance. I think the frame rate might be higher but it was a big improvement. I hope this is a sign of things to come, I might renew.

BU beats MC 4-2 to set up a Cornell/BU matchup in the Frozen Four. BC to face the winner if UMD/Wisconsin in the other semi.

I'm heading to Erie for the Frozen Four next weekend and I have some questions about tickets.

I can buy a set of all-session tickets via Ticketmaster (second deck, corner).  Apparently, they haven't released the tickets for individual games, yet.

Will Cornell be getting an allotment of tickets?  Should I wait and get tickets from them to be seated in the Cornell section?

I find it hard to believe that all the lower deck tickets are already sold for this, so I'm hypothesizing that they have held blocks to allot to the individual schools.

In a related matter, I may have space to take along an additional person or so if you're interested in catching a ride from Ithaca to Erie...depart Friday, return Sunday....regardless of game outcome.  And, hey, there's a maple syrup festival in Erie next weekend and other things to do.

Nice that there are 3 teams from the east :).

Also three red and white teams.

Great win and a great atmosphere (for which I think my friends and I can take some credit).  Jenner's shorthanded goal set the tone, and they bounced back right after conceding on that powerplay.  Unfortunately, Wisconsin still look frighteningly good, but we're through to Erie.

The Erie Otters of the OHL play at Tullio Arena. The Lake Erie Monsters play in Cleveland in the AHL.

Opened in 1983, the arena accommodates trade shows, conventions and meetings.
