That was short lived...
I think "emergency call up" summed up about how long he'd stay in Columbus.

According to the Orange County Register, the five-year-old rape charge against David McKee was dimissed following a hung jury trial that voted 11-1 for acquittal: Rape Charge Against Hockey Player Dismissed

The allegation said McKee raped an unconscious woman he met earlier that night in a Newport Beach bar. "[Defense attorney Al] Stokke argued that McKee and the woman engaged in consensual sex. The jury foreman said later that most jurors did not think the woman was unconscious at the time of the act. Another juror said she felt it was a consensual sexual encounter." The prosecutor did not object to the motion to dismiss, which was granted by the judge.

Ryan O'Byrne gets his 6th assist on Colorado's 3rd goal; a very, very bad goal for Minnesota's goalie Khudobin to have given up. Oh, Colorado win's 4-1 and 22+ minutes in ice time for OB.

Matt Moulson assisted on all goals of Tavares's natural hat trick. I also noticed a big "A" on Matt's jersey. Is that new? I didn't know he had been named an assistant captain.

I've seen the A the last 2-3 games, not sure I had seen it before.

It may be temporary while the Islanders' captain (Weight) and assistant captains (Okposo and Streit) are all out injured.

Even if temporary it's pretty nice recognition for Matt.

Oh god, not the Bruins.  Please.  Anybody else.

Unless he's a rental, we bang them for every prospect they have, and he's right back with us next October.  In which case, let your Ryan Smyth freak flag fly.

Bob McKenzie reported after those rumors started flying that the Islanders said they would like to sign him but they haven't begun negotiations yet.
