I actually remember hearing that live.
Also, tying this back to Cornell hockey, I remember watching part of the game with Meredith's Cowboys losing to the Browns in the NFL playoffs in '68.  I was watching in a department store in Boston (probably Jordan Marsh) while killing time before we played BC in the final of a holiday tournament in Boston Garden (a 6-3 win against an excellent and talent loaded BC team).
