D'oh! ::bang::

(Well, the other 11 months of the year are great. ;-) )

The NCAA is going pro in cash management.

Quote from: sockralexI will be there with my now fiancĂ© (as of Saturday) and my best friend from high school who is an RIT alum.  Hoping for another great Cornell sports weekend!
Good luck to you. Our first date was the NCAA regionals in Providence and Gwen's Smithie friends thought it was incredibly romantic.

I'll be there, + 2 hopefully, for Saturday's game (and yes, Cornell will be playing on Saturday!). As for a pre-game get together, Jillians is a decent sports bar type place only a few blocks from the arena.

Anyone need a ride? I'm leaving Friday @10 am from Brooklyn. Anyone want to split a room at the Best Western on Wolf Road (indoor pool, baby! and total for the room is about $88) I plan to take a swim and then get to the arena around 4. I was at the hotel with my wife and daughter last weekend! If you're already planning to drive, I can leave my car in Brooklyn and go with you. E-mail me at moskcraig@att.net.

I'll be in Albany, but not Syracuse.  And because some people had the nerve to ask, if Cornell plays RIT on Saturday, I will be rooting for Cornell. ::starwars::

We didn't ask. We demanded and threatened. :-P

The best pregame gettogether I know of will be the Denver/RIT game.  I probably won't make it there in time, though.

So we're all in agreement, we're RIT fans for one day, right?

After rooting really hard for Bemidji last year I think I'll be a bit more restrained. Be careful what you wish for and all that.

Will be there Friday with 4 others.  My husband (trainbow) and I will be there for all 3 games regardless of Cornell's success.

Sockralex, congrats on your engagement.  We spent the Saturday after Cornell's 2004 Friday quarter-final victory over Clarkson fantasizing about getting married at center ice between periods at the ECACs in Albany the following weekend (and he's not even a Cornellian!).  Turned out Cornell lost the next two games and didn't get to Albany until after we were married (in a conventional mansion-for-hire).  Not too late for you though!

Excellent point.  I'll just root for fights and multiple suspensions.

I was actually thinking of the geographic proximity and rabid fan base angles, not the easy opponent angle.  Anyone who made the tournament, by AQ or otherwise, is not an easy opponent.  I think the hardwood showed us that already.

Quote from: munchkinIs anyone driving from Boston (or the surrounding area) on Saturday if the team wins on Friday?  I will go, I'd just rather not have to shell out for a Zip Car ($$$ for 24 hours).

The Boston-Albany bus is pretty decent. And the Albany bus station is like three blocks from the arena. Just don't go for a layover in Springfield.
