Message from RPI-Sports list from Kyle Mackenzie of RPI TV, a student club:

QuoteThe first round of Men's Hockey playoffs against the Brown Bears is well underway. With the loss last night, RPI will have to bounce back with two more wins in order to advance to the next round. Another loss tonight will bring their season to an end.

RPI has some of the most dedicated fans in ECAC hockey. Many will be unable to attend tonight's game due to the overlap with spring break. Not to worry, however, as everyone will be able to watch the game(s) LIVE and FOR FREE thanks to RPI TV. The stream will go live at 6:30pm tonight and tomorrow night (if necessary) at http://www.rpitv.org/live. The games begin at 7:00pm. We really want as many people to watch tonight as we can get! This is a much higher quality feed than B2 and we also have a chat room to talk with other hockey fans.

Also, be sure to check out last nights game at http://www.rpitv.org/productions/286-mens-hockey-vs-brown-game-1-ecac-championship-1st-round

As always, if you have any problems viewing the game, be sure to send us an email at rpitv@union.rpi.edu or right to my email address, mackek2@rpi.edu.

I'm going out, but the RPI TV feed looks good.

3-1 RPI, about 3:30 left in the 2nd.  The RPI webcast is terrific

Their audio has been great for 20 years.  Haven't seen the video.

At about 8:30 of the second we thought RPI scored.  Did the announcers comment?

In inimitable fashion, the ECAC has now moved the score to 4-2.  I guess if Q keeps playing well they can tie it up 3-3...

Root for RPI, the one team that has had Yale's number and would be in Yale's Albany bracket assuming all the top seeds survive the quarters.

Harvard (to advance), RPI and Dartmouth all heading for wins tonight.  North Country is all tied up.  We could have 3 Sunday games.

Quote from: TrotskyHarvard now up 3-zip.

Princeton's been a huge disappointment.  I know they've had injuries, but jeez. Kalemba was exposed this year.

Harvard, OTOH, has gotten some life.  Would be interesting if we were matched-up with them next weekend..
