based on the replay: it was open ice, and the dartmouth player is a lot bigger than jillson. the radio guy called it an elbow, but i disagree. clean, hard hit. you have to keep your head up

In NCAA hockey, like the OHL, a check to the head is a contact-to-the-head roughing penalty.  It looked to me like Estoclet hit Jillson's head as well as his upper chest or shoulder.  It would have been a clean hit in the NHL, but a penalty should have been called tonight.
