Now that Harvard has a video scoreboard, how long before they hire the people responsible for this atrocity to make one for them? I mean, good GOD...

The polar bear destroying Anchorage was a bit insensitive.  I guess no one remembers the earthquake of 1964.  Whoever thought up this video must have been high on something or maybe took their cues from an 8-year old.  Eight year olds, dude.

I mean, I'm against obnoxious crap like that in principle...

But what could you possibly have disliked about that video?!

The whole journey to the arena and smashing through the roof is a cliche in the genre of "intro videos."

I think as Cornell fans, we are generally very traditionalist about our hockey.  That means keeping the lights, bells, and whistles to a minimum.  It also means not caving in to the trend of professional-styled college athletics, and holding on to the principles of amateurism as best we can.  So when something like this video comes up it's just another reminder of the how differently college hockey is conceived in some circles than in ours.

Well I can see it having greta appeal to your average ten year old boy.

If that doesn't get you fired up for hockey you better check your pulse. ::rock::

It's got just about everything you could want, outer space, a polar bear riding a rocket propelled hockey stick, and the complete destruction of Anchorage (not to mention the moon).

Just missing Phil Collins and the laser show. ;-)

What would you expect from a state that could elect Sarah Palin?::cheer::

Having youtube blocked at work only means that this will be a letdown, compared to what's happening in my imagination.

I think there's a good chance that even your wildest imagination will fall short of what you'll see in the video.

So much for the moon...

Oh no! Won't destroying the moon unleash cosmic destruction?  Man's civilization will be cast in ruin!

Might be worth it for a fabulous Sunsword.

You can see how Bristol Palin got excited about hockey. And was the polar bear's entry into the building Freudian or what?

A polar bear...correction...a space polar bear spontaneously explodes thirty seconds in.  So, just your average hockey arena intro video.

They need to do just a bit of editing. Colorize that bear so that he's brown, and change the sign from "<-- Fairbanks/Anchorage -->" to "<-- Boston/Montreal -->". But it's a great start!

Wow.  And I had just about convinced myself that I had hallucinated Thundar and his wacky friends all those many Saturdays.
