I know it's an attempt by the writer to include something from the other side, but awkwardly including the "And" at the start of J. Andrew's quote sounds like he's hanging out with Jack Parker and completing his sentences. Also, I like how the quote seems to have our "physical education program" director (PED?) taking personal credit for this. "*I'm* thrilled to continue..." I have a mental picture of Andy out there in shaky skates, alone vs. BU. *shudder*

Note that, given my history of slamming the guy, this isn't a knock on Andy, but the bad writing in this release. It's obvious a quote they got from him was shoehorned in very poorly.

I really hope we don't have to endure Sasquatch, he's old and waaaaay past his prime for shirtless antics. At least the Class of '09 pregame has an open bar so hopefully those of us who attend that one will have beer goggles should Sasquatch appear.

Say it isn't so! Time Warner CNY, in their infinite wisdom, is apparently going to air the Maine/Syracuse Basketball Game instead of the CU/Union Hockey Game Saturday night in the Ithaca area. To make matters worse, they are supposedly going to air this basketball game on both channel 24 and channel 26.

College Basketball - Maine at Syracuse

* Tomorrow 7:00pm – 9:00pm
* 26 TWSYSPO, 24 SNY
* Live

Someone please stop them...

In all seriousness...does anyone know who we should contact? Is there any point?

I've just gotten an email response to my inquiry. The game will be shown on 1026. Check the digital programming guide in your area, it's now listed in Syracuse.

Hmm, Time Warner in Rochester also has the SU basketball game on tonight, and lists the Cornell-Union game as tape delayed tomorrow afternoon. Channel 1026 doesn't exist on my guide at the moment, but the 10XX channels are generally HD versions of the lower channels. I tried to tell the DVR to manually record 1026 at that time just in case, but it won't let me schedule a recording for a channel that doesn't exist.

That's true here as well, but TW does put separate programming on them when they aren't going to show it in HD anyway. It's listed on my TV channel guide but not on the online listing.::screwy::

It's 6:53PM as I type, and channel 1026 is showing a Syracuse Crunch game that has about 13 minutes left in the third period. I don't think this bodes well for catching the beginning of the Cornell-Union game live.

Happy as hell to be wrong! Channel 1026 switched to the Cornell-Union pre-game at 7:00 PM!
