Wasn't sure whether to put this in Men's Hockey, Other Sports, or JSID, but since it does matter to hockey...

Comcast will carry ESPNU ( & ESPN360.com for their internet customers) starting "in time for the start of the college football season".

They just saved their hides with me. I was 1 month away from switching to FiOS TV, which is when my Comcast promo expires. Although they'll still have to extend the promotional pricing again to keep me, but now they have a fighting chance.

Nice. Thanks, Fred. Sounds like ESPN Classic might become a bit less readily available for some Comast customers. That's too bad, but if that's what it takes for ESPNU to makes its long overdue debut on Comcast, I can live with it.

Hey Al- cancel the construction on the spare room for me - I can watch from here!

I'll get excited if and when Cablevision carries ESPNU.  Not holding my breath however.  After all, this is the Dolans we're talking about.

ESPN360 now has good quality replays of the Cornell-Virginia and [sigh] Cornell-Syracuse games available here: http://espn.go.com/broadband/espn360/channels?channel=3578796&

The long wait is over -- at least for me. Sometime in the last few days, ESPNU showed up on Comcast here in the Philadelphia in the digital sports tier (in the low 700s).

Here in northern NJ too (channel 730, I believe), just a few days ago.

286 here on Cape Cod.  No HD, though.

ESPNU is on Comcast channel 298 here in Atlanta.  It appears that I have lost access to ESPNC (122), but gained ESPNU.

This didn't deserve its own thread, but the Cornell@Union game on Dec 5 will be televised by Time Warner.
