Athletics eliminates admin for all atlhetic teams except football

The Atletics department has eliminated all admin staff for all athletic programs except for the football program.  What this means for the hockey program is that Sue Detzer's job was eliminated in the hockey office.

 It is such a shame that the powers that be do not realize what Sue meant to the program.  She was always there to handle ticket requests,  manage the coaches luncheon, coordinate recruiting visits, and many other things people don't realize.  Sue was the best ambassador the hockey program has had in many many years.

Luckily Sue was offered employment elsewhere in the department (ticket office with Gene), so for that I'm thankful.

For those of you that have ever had the chance to interact with Sue I encourage you to reach out to her and thank her for her tireless efforts on behalf of the hockey program.

That's a big loss for the team, but maybe she can actually get the ticket office to run more like Harvard's. ;)

Well, let's see: if she makes $50K/year, at 4% that would be only $1.25 million we need to raise.  Let's get on that. ;-)
