Cornell Hockey Happy Hour at the Frozen Four

Friday, April 10
5:00-8:00 pm

Penn Quarter Sports Tavern
639 Indiana Avenue NW
Washington DC
(Metro: Archives/Navy War Memorial)

For those coming down to DC for the Frozen Four...

On behalf of the Cornell Club of Washington, I have organized a happy hour for all Cornell fans in town for the games. Happy Hour begins at 5:00, enabling fans to attend official "Friday Night at the Frozen Four" events later in the evening.

Penn Quarter Sports Tavern is 1/4 mile from the Verizon Center.

$2 bottles.  $3 pints.  $5 rails and wine.  And reportedly Matzah Pizza!

Roll Call?  I haven't seen a FF Roll Call thread to gauge how many Faithful are still coming to DC this weekend.

Thanks for organizing this, Josh - I hope to be there, and suspect I won't have much difficulty dragging mha.

I'm here year round. Not sure where I'll be Friday afternoon.

Friday evening's the one night I don't have plans, and might want to schedule things with other friends in the area -- though if we can drag random non-Cornellian friends, that could work, too. :-)

Hmmmmm, well at least they both believe in dragging.

Yeah, I'll more than likely be there.  Last year's CU gathering in Denver was hastily arranged by us (I think we just wandered across the river to a bar & grill after semi #2), so something official set up ahead of time is nice.

I'll be the one dressed like Andy Bernard.

Hello Cruise Director Rich!

Hey Rich, I take exception it was not hastily arranged! ::smashfreak:: Plans were being worked out a week in advance :-P.

I hope everyone has a great time in DC (and poking fun of JTW's scarf).

OK, fair enough.  But for some reason it still felt like rounding up cattle after the games and there was confusion.  I'm glad I'm not cruise director this year.  Kudos and thanks, Josh 03.

Re-reading that thread makes me realize that we're no longer at altitude, but at sea level.  Alright, who decided to put the Frozen Four in the middle of a swamp this year?  **]

We always have fun poking fun at JTW's scarves. :P

If you're still looking for #s, there's a decent chance you can add 1, maybe 2, more.

More the merrier.  Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
