I got an email from athletics as an "Athletics VIP" I also got an email earlier this week about ticket sales for the quarterfinals.

ETA: I'm pretty sure this is from the thing about a year ago where you could sign up for an email list where you would find out about ticket sales ahead of time.

got through, put in an order for 8 for lower level.  I was told most likely it shouldnt be aproblem to get 8 since I was calling early, but no guarentees at this point.  They arent actually selling actual seats now it appears, just putting how many you want + where, and they'll let you know in a fews days.

I was told differently - that I was all set, and the tickets should be in the mail to me in a few days.

They told me I'd get them by the end of the month. Then again, I was ordering the cheap seats, with the $1 handling fee, so it must not take as much effort to process.

maybe because I ordered 8?  Not sure...probably should have just waited to see what ticketmaster had to offer, I got some great seats through them last year.

Did you get your actual seats?  Or just that theyd be somewhere in the section?

Since I ordered 10, I doubt that's what made the difference.

who knows then.  I got through around 10:25am, what about you?  I got the impression I should be all set, just that there was slight possibility my seats wouldnt be together.

I finally got through, ordered 10, and Gene indicated it wouldn't be in problem (in the 100s).  I'm in Ithaca, so he said I would likely be able to pick them up before Saturday's game.  Side note from past experience, I wouldn't try leaving a number, just keep calling.

fyi, good seats are available online @ ticketmaster.  handling fee is a bit more though
