8.  And there's still 7 minutes to go.  Is Troy Davenport dressed?

The score is terrible. But the St. Lawrence announcers are making it worth the seven bucks. Almost.

Wally the color guy apparently studied Art Carney's mastery of the Ed Norton character in the Honeymooners.

Oh, geez, now it's 8-1. Guess Scrivens starts tomorrow unless he's got the flu.

Whydid B. Nash leave the ice? Is he hurt?

billhoward

Oh, good, Cornell gets a PP. That should start the comebook.

announcer says, "Cornell goes on the man advantage for the next couple minutes, unless they score."

Earlier he said the SLU PPG "negates the Cornell penalty." Am I too tired or is that not the right word?

20th game of the season.

19 goals given up in three of them. (6.33)
16 goals given up in the other 17.  (0.94)

Sometimes a coin lands on heads a couple more times in a row than what you might otherwise expect. I suspect that is what happened with us earlier this season.

At least the women kept the score respectable against St. Lawrence -- losing only 2-1 to the team that stands atop the ECAC and ranked No. 4 in the country.

For all you history buffs, has a good team ever been beaten this badly? Someone has to be able to put this in perspective.

One more, and I'm removing the (t) from the thread subject.

I also resign from being the game threadmaster.  I think I'm 1-2-0 this year (0-2-0 the last 2 weeks), and I was in the crowd for the 3rd loss.

And sometimes teams just have bad nights.

Games like this build character.

Nobody knows yet.  Stop asking.

Schafer should take a hard look at Mike Garman and decide if he is really ready for NCAA hockey.  Unless Troy Davenport has some kind of health problem, he probably should be getting some playing time.

A very good 1986 Cornell team lost Fish N' Fowl 11-3.  That's what comes to my mind.

well i'd say thats about enough character building for me ::crazy::
