Gophers are losing 4-1 to Boston College, ~ 10 minutes left in the 3rd period.  :-D

It would be pretty funny if the "All WCHA Final Four" dreams were reduced down to the only sub-.500 team as the sole contender...plus, you've gotta cheer for RED!

Things getting interesting in the BC-Minnesota game.

Minnesota on a PP and pull their goalie to make it a 6 v. 4 with just under 4 minutes left. Minnesota thinks they scored a goal early in the PP: the goal light went on, but the ref waved it off. Play continues for another 3 minutes and stops when BC scores and ENG.

Upon further review, that Minnesota goal was good, thus now 4-2 and BC has to defend its lead for another 3+ minutes.

A long time out while they figure out exactly how much time is left in this game.

Big controversy in BC game. TV showed MN scored but play not called. Then BC scores and they are reviewing MN goal. So what's the score?

That's what hunt & peck typing gets you. :)

At some point, one of those delayed calls is going to reverse a game decision.  A trade of goals in overtime, for instance.

It's right, but it seems really wrong.

Jeez, hasn't Lerg been on MSU since about 1998?

Empty Net gives up yet another goal this weekend. 5-2 BC with 18 seconds left.

Hey Minnesota.... Seeeeeeeee Ya!!

With three college hockey games airing simultaneously, you are watching squeakball? ::screwy::
Some of us don't have superduper satellite cable. :-D  I saw that too, I backed up and watched it a few times more.

I want Wisconsin to win just to see the posters on USCHO go more apeshit.  I expect we'll see mass suicide among Mankato fans.
BTW, one of the great things about the "superduper satellite cable" system is Hockey Night in Canada. On Saturday nights NHL Center Ice gives you the CBC feed for both 7 pm and 10 pm the games, and the post-game show.

In the post game show they usually have a player from the late game and do a feature called  "How I padded my stats vs. Kelly Hrudy" in which they show the goals that the guest scored vs. the co-host Kelly Hrudy.

Looks like Notre Dame and MSU are both part of CSTV's all access, which means no free net audio to be found.

Can someone correct me if I'm wrong?

With the review, they had to restart everything from the time when the reviewed play occured, right?

Correct. Thus the players actually "skated" for about 23 minutes in the third period. It was confusing because the scoreboard said "5-1" BC when the whistle did blow since the BC scoring the ENG was the reason why play had stopped. The players on the ice thought it was a goal, and knowing that all the goals are reviewed, they probably should have "forced" a whistle by going off-sides or something.

From the West Regional,  ND now leading MSU 2-1 with 5:06 left in the second period.

Back to a 1-1 tie game. ND goal disallowed due to a man in the crease.
