Clarkson to the PP. 2:24 in OT.

Powerplay for Clarkson at 17:36.

The refs certainly aren't from the WCHA; only in the first OT and already 3 penalties called.

Minnesota @ MSU still tied at 2. 7:06 left. Gophers have had a lot of good pressure for the last 4 minutes or so, including a PP.

I hope Clarkson wins after a few more OT periods; they'll be too tired to play against us.

So, do you think that it is possible that Clarkson would fall down far enough in the PWR if they lost this game to not make the tourney?  They are tied for 9 right now, with the two Minn teams right behind them (I'm guessing the winner would jump ahead?)...

Clarkson is pretty much a lock to make the tourney regardless

Clarkson should win this the longer it goes as they have more depth, but I'd hate to have to face those seniors fighting for their lives--Burton, Winchester and Dekanich.

Vermont beats Northeastern (4-1?)
BU 4 over UM-Lowell 2

Minnesota and MSU headed for OT!! ::popcorn:: ::banana::

Definitely agree, the longer the game goes the better it is for Clarkson.  That being said, as we all know anything can happen in this sport, especially in this situation.

According to Gate cast, the already small Clarkson crowd thinned out over the fourth intermission.

Yeah, I have to laugh. The 3 games at gate last weekend had crowds of 816,814, & 687 and that was before they started to thin out.

To be fair though, some of those people came back, they were just using the restrooms.

The Union announcer said the Messa crowd was the largest in the ECAC Friday.  I wonder what portion were the Faithful?  20?  30?
