Refs have been really lax on calling penalties on bad hits/elbows/roughings stuff like that the past 2 weeks.

There's also been a lot of scoreboard reffing.

We've lost intensity and this one could easily slip away.  Two terrible plays on D.

Agreed. Exactly the sort of thing the team was talking about avoiding all this week in the paper.

Cornell lacked intensity in the second period.  They weren't hustling back on defense during Brown rushes.

R Nash is a great player, but he needs to do his part on defense.  He was in the slot on the Brown scoring rush and didn't react when the puck showed up.

After watching the replays on the Brown goal, it is clear that the Brown skater took out Scrivens in the crease allowing the follower to knock it into an open net.

Had the refs the benefit of a replay, would that goal stand? Can you take out the goalie like that? It seems like this happens all the time and never gets called.

Video replays during intermissions = good, audio replays = bad.  Left food cooking on the stove to run to the computer when I hear "SAWADA GOAL!!" only to find Jason reliving the past.

The 5x3 kill was in the second, and that was great.

He's been a total disappointment lately (since the beginning of 08). He hasn't been working hard enough away from the puck in all three zones.

His sniping display against SLU and impressive D and physical play against both North Country teams = total dissapointment?

sah67

Jason sounds annoyed that Scali took a dive to draw a penalty...hell, we'll take it ;)

Gallagher PPG!  2/3 on the pp tonight!  A real soft one too.

Blake Gallagher scores a soft goal.
