Denver's Tyler Ruegsegger with some ridiculous moves here (including a flip of the puck in between the D-man's legs back to himself)
against Minny State:

Just saw that as well, that is some amazing stick handling in close on both the D-man and the Goalie.

Pretty cool goal.

Would love to see how Nash's compared to it.  Anybody want to put it up on YouTube?

I suspect everybody wants to put it up on YouTube.  The question is:  Does anybody have it on recorded media?

Heh. I was joking.  I'm pretty sure nobody has it to put up.

Ditto ;)

To my unbiased view, Nash's was better. He had skating control of the puck for a longer distance, not receiving a long outlet pass to get it started. But then again, being able to see it again might change my memory.::bugeye::

B2 _just_ launched their "on demand" service. I'd checked last week, it wasn't available. Cornell v. Brown is one of the available games. It's $15. I'd be happy to pay for it, but I've never done any vid cap stuff and am not sure I could produce a clip for uploading to youtube. For someone with the right stream-ripping software and video editing/conversion tools, getting the goal up onto youtube should now be relatively trivial.

Edit: looks like they send you a cd for your $15. That file would be pretty easy to edit, don't have to worry about ripping the stream.

What's lost in the majesty Ruegsegger's goal is that the move and outlet pass that made it happen was pretty awesome in it's own right.

Agree.  Ruegsegger really only undressed one defender (with 2 impressive switchback turns and one sweet stickhandle) and got the shot off before a 2nd could catch up.  The passer (Trotter) did a great job himself of skating around 2 Mavs.  My memory of Nash's goal is that he had 3 guys in front of him to get by before laying the Brown goaltender out.  But my memory of plays has been wrong before.
