Nobody thinks the conference doesn't know what it's doing.

Let me rephrase that.  Nobody thinks the conference doesn't know what it's doing in this instance.  What we enjoy pointing out, every year right about this time, is that the policy is counter-intuitive.

If you're bored by people repeating the same tired truisms endlessly, you should quit the internets entirely.  ::deadhorse::

But the people who are beating the dead horse are those who complain every time about how the ECAC does it.

And what other internet do you suggest we quit?::crazy::

Thank you, I have one of the Bushism calendars, but hadn't seen this one. Now if I could only get you to post it so I don't have to cut and paste.:-}

Just stumbed across this clip on youtube of Nicholls involved in some more goal-scoring heroics: http://youtube.com/watch?v=vX8vRlfCeXM

It's a hand-held camera from the stands and the action is pretty distant, but it's Nicholls nonetheless, and a championship-winning OT goal at that.

And in the "other videos" panel, a hard open-ice check that blew a guy off of his skates.

Yeah, I think that video was posted on here once before during a new recruits thread.  But still...if only the band had some sort of instrument to replicate a freight-train whistle for everytime Nicholls is "locked on" to someone.  That is, if the freight train didn't de-rail itself everytime it hit something ;)

If I were to ever suggest borrowing that particular train whistle, it would not be for the purpose of playing it.
