That's better.  Audio and video working fine now at 6:45PM.

Yeah, same.  It's coming through in 5-10 second bits.

Oh hey, you're in the cube next to me.

Nice that Cornell's fees are non-renewing.

Site came up quickly on Media Player 10. Video fine. Audio comes and goes ... but then you notice audio glitches more than video glitches (eg momentary freezes).

Even if the quality still leaves much to be desired, at least the tenor is: Thanks for signing up, friend. Here are some things to know. Here are some things that might go wrong. Here's how you may be able to fix them.

And tech support got back to me within minutes about the original video problems - now let's see if they can fix the audio.  I'm really only getting a total of about 2 seconds of audio every minute.

Audio quality sucks...in addition to the choppiness.

6:54 pm - the image is pretty dark. Are all the lights on? With a cheap camcorder or digital camera (costly ones too) they see a lot of white ice and figure it's neutral gray on average, darkening the overall image.

also nice to not be locked into Windows
the FAQ only speaks to Windows/Mac... but the feed came right up on my Ubuntu Linux box using the default Totem plugin (which probably isnt the best but is working for now)

Just spent 35 bucks on this redcast thing and it sucks as many of you are indicating.

Hello Jacob,

Sorry for the inconvenience. But it seems to be streaming problems at
Cornell end.

Thats the response I got after e-mailing about the problems.
