For those of you who would like to see some completed passes, check out this     video from the DIII game between Trinity (of Texas, not the Hartford, CT one) and Millsaps. It was the lead story for ESPN sport center last night.

Wow. 14 laterals (and no band). Definitely worthy of an "Alcoa Fantastic Finish" spot.
 ::popcorn:: ::wow::

I find it amazing that with all that back and forth they managed to avoid clipping penalties.

That's an excellent point, you almost always see some sort of a desperation penalty on those types of plays.

I feel for that defense though, talk about a long shift ;-)

The YouTube posting has been taken down.  Presumably ESPN complained.  ESPN has the last several laterals, but not the whole play, shown in their ballot for game-changing play of the week. https://r.espn.go.com/espn/contests/07GameChangingPerformance/index?cmp=ncaafb07contestcars

I think that may top holy_cross_homer_call.mp3 for silly announcing.  I especially liked when the color commentator started yelling "Go! Go!" ::rolleyes:: :-D

On college broadcasts I don't mind a little homer enthusiasm as long as it doesn't get in the way of objective evaluation of the game (see: Hockey, Brown).
