I called and purchased my tickets for the Championships at Albany, and
they said Cornell fans are all scared and waiting to purchase their tickets. Have some faith people!  BTW I called 518-487-2100 and purcahsed
group discounted tickets.  Saved $8.00 a ticket on my all-sessions.
I think we will rock the house again in albany!

Nobody's scared.  This has been covered in another thread - if and when we make it to Albany, Cornell will have tons of tickets to sell, and even if that allotment sells out, the arena itself will not come close to selling out.  Good for you for planning ahead - but there's no real need, so most of us aren't.

also it is considered bad luck by some (myself included) to buy tickets/book hotel room before you know your team is going to be there.

No need to be nasty. Was just being nice giving out the number. You need
to relax.

...which was not a superstition we could afford to indulge back when the tournament was in Lake Placid, where you had to have hotel reservations in advance if you wanted to stay within 15-20 miles of town - and you had to reserve for the whole weekend because it was ski season - and you couldn't cancel less than a week in advance, so you couldn't know for sure before the cancellation deadline that your team would make it.

Which part was nasty?  The part where you accused everybody here of being scared, or the part where I quite politely said, more or less, "Thanks, but no thanks, there's no need to be"?

(I need to relax...?!)

That assumes you only go if your team is there. Some of us also just like to see good hockey, so we go anyway. And what do you do about the Frozen Four, since you'll soon need to ask for 2008 tickets? Superstitions don't apply then?::worry::

To misquote Monty Python:

'Then, shalt thou count to four. No more. No less. Four shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be four. Five shalt thou not count, nor either count thou three, excepting that thou then proceed to four. Six is right out. Once the number four, being the forth number, be reached, then, thou hath spelt Beeeej in a manner pleasing to the Lord.'
