I'll give the whole game thread a shot. Scrivens in goal.

Let's Go Red!

First Period
-- scoreless --

Second Period
HAR 1 COR 0 15:42 Reese (unassisted)

Third Period
HAR 1 COR 1 07:38 McCutcheon (Carefoot, Scott) PPG
HAR 2 COR 1 11:33 Taylor (Fraser)
HAR 3 COR 1 18:30 Fraser (Taylor, Christian)
-------------------------------------------------------------------
36 saves for Scrivens, 26 for Tobe
Can't fault the goaltending. Team seemed a bit better than last night but definitely came out flat on what shaped up to be two crucial games. Dartmouth wins the Ivy Title.

I failed at the game thread starting. ::cry::

Good for you, Omie.  Either you'll be a hero or you'll get your head on a pike.  ;-)

Omie

haha Hopefully it will be the former.

Rita

Did anyone else just here the word "cycle" and our PP used in the same sentence? That must mean our skaters are *moving* as opposed to standing by the next waiting for the D to shoot.

Trotsky

Romano hit the post on a backdoor attempt.  Still 0-0, even strength.

Cornell pp #2.  They have momentum and physical advantage, now get a friggin' goal!

Trotsky

Scrivens robs Taylor on a shorty breakaway (second of the period).

Pronunciation question:  Are the Harvard announcers correct saying Scrivens with a long "i"?

pfibiger

cth95,

pretty sure they're not. but it's not just long i, the other guy has been saying something like Schlovens.
