Cornell on the PP. It will carry over into the 2nd period if we do not score before the end of the 1st.

Trotsky

Great period of Old Time Hockey.  Both teams with a very aggressive forecheck, both are very physical.  Carefoot and Kennedy have been playing like All-ECAC this weekend.

Al DeFlorio

Penn trailing Yale by 11 in b-ball with 8 min to play.  Harvard leading Red by 7 in the first half.

Yeah, I was going to post about that. They said Flanagan was tackled from behind by Greening, and it would be a 1-1 game if not for that. He also said he had better not hear Schafer whining about the refs again. He's one to talk.

oceanst41

Well Milo is carrying his play from last night over to tonight for sure. And how 'bout that checking line?

I admit I haven't really been paying a whole lot of attention to it, but has Schafer been going with Kennedy-Carefoot-Mugford to start games a la Abbott-Sawada-Mugford? The way they have been playing this weekend shows that they could really set a tone for the team to follow early on in the game.

Consider the source.  Those guys sound like they're drunk on the air half the time.  The worst announcing crew in D-1.

A little surprising that Fontas isn't in tonight.  He played great last night.

I dunno, I'd say Brown is half a step worse.

You must not have heard the Clarkson colorcom.

ryeguy

Clarkson and Colgate tied at 1-1 after the first. Leggio let in a pretty weak one by trying to play the puck and then deciding not to.

Gallagher gets a chance on a penalty shot...:( no luck.

oceanst41

That was a great save by Petizian on the penalty shot!

Al DeFlorio

Well, we just went from a likely 2-0 to 1-1.  How did Gallagher not put that in?

Cornell is looking real sloppy in their own end
