I agree, thundersticks are lame, and do cause "unnecessary, unnatural noise", which some would say is not good sportsmanship.



Andy Noel would be having a fit... THUNDERSTICKS!
I think Thundersticks would go against Noel's (apparent) mission to have as subdued a crowd as possible at Cornell athletic events as possible.

Maybe at next year's hockey ticket line fiasco there will be lessons in proper, polite non-offensive cheering by Emily Post and Julia Martin (aka Miss Manners).
