The ECAC will be having their media day Monday (September 23).  They'll have a web chat for 15 minutes with each of four coaches, from the RS and tournament championship teams.  Schafer is up from 10:45-11:00 EDT.  Details:

Presumably they won't charge $7 for the audio or move it to Albany at the last minute.  (Yes, I am still bitter.)

It's already IN Albany.  :-P

[Q]It's already IN Albany. :-P [/Q]

Maybe they'll move it to Lake Placid at the last minute... or, following recent trends, Boston or NYC .::rolleyes::

For some reason I thought it was in Centerville...

There is a USCHO thread with the transcript.

So people don't have to go fishing for it on USCHO, here's a link to the transcript:

Trying to follow the Q&A gave me a headache even though it ultimately isn't that hard to pair the Qs up with the As.  As for the transcript itself: Well said, Greg.

A few "interesting" quotes from the coach:
[Q]"To me the move to Albany is a step in the direction of growing as a league. Our goal is to put 13,000 to 14,000 fans in this rink and I believe that will make our league healthier " [/Q]

[Q]seth said "How do you feel about CU's deal with RealAudio?"

Coach Schafer said "I'm not really aware of the deal with Real Audio. Been recruiting too much."

DeltaOne_BigRed said "Coach: in order to hear webcasts of the games, people must pay $7/month now"

Coach Schafer said "I don't agree with having to pay $7/mo" [/Q]

Now I'll say: "nuf said." If we could only get others to listen to him.

(And sorry to tread on your ground, DeltaOne. I didn't see your post on the other thread till I did this, but , hey, repetition on this point can't be bad.)
