Quoteand the team never again recorded over 10 wins in the Ivy League.

How exactly are they supposed to do that when they only play ten Ivy games per season?!

QuoteBut in 1995, the athletic department introduced Mike Schafer '86 as head coach and the men in Red responded immediately, picking up two straight ECAC titles. The team recently won another ECAC title and is primed to make a run at the national championship.

In which universe did they win another ECAC title after the two straight?  If they're talking about a regular season title as opposed to a tournament title, they damn well ought to distinguish between them.

You got a hold of a copy from next week, and they are referring to the "past" weekend at Lake Placid.

Oh!  Well, that's a relief.  I'm glad it was a rift in the space-time continuum, and not just Sun incompetence.

Was I the only one bothered by...
The team recently won another ECAC title and is primed to
make a run at the national championship.

They must have been running out of space at the end - heck, he jumped from Harkness to 96 - but they should really distinguish between 'regular season title' and the true 'champs.' Besides, let's not push our luck yet. A bid isn't even wrapped up. But it was a great article until he did 3 decades in 3 paragraphs. Probably shoulda been a two parter B-] .

Well, if they went 10-2 in the Ivies that ain't bad either.
