A lot of people have commented on how loud it was after the Regush goal.  It sounded fantastic over ESPN+.  I am very happy to hear this.  The coach and players have also noticed, based on their comments.  Even some of us stodgy "in my day" old timers think this compares favorably with any epoch of the Faithful.

We bitch constantly about latecomers and cell phones so I hope there's a ton of positive reinforcement being given to the students right now.  They're really coming through and it helps.  Later, if we can do this at the neutral sites, it could provide that tiny sliver of an edge -- the kind of thing that makes the difference in, oh I dunno, a triple overtime QF say.

People will always get behind a winner. Even in the age of iPhones and Netflix.

Well, then, I have a suggestion...

TBH I did notice the girls in the student section appear to be getting hotter.  This happened with the Mets in 86, too.

I actually did too, but something something small sample sizes.

If you are going remain atop....come to play Cornell.  Seems as though you are playing afraid, without heart, and not as a number 1 team in DI hockey.  Not impressed with ties!

Definitely both fish and fowl during my tenure (79-82).  However, the fish were thrown before Sucks came out for the 3rd period, not at the beginning of the game.

Have you followed the demographics of the student body? Cripes, even the Engineering College took in over 50% women in 2018 (and I presume 2019). In my day, the ratio was 6:1 male:female (and we'd hike up Lib Slope uphill both ways!). Once you increase the size of the pool of women, the odds of seeing lots of attractive women increase. Also, and not to say that back in the day Cornell women were from an inherently less attractive demographic (have you seen films showing the Notorious RBG while she was at Cornell? -- quite the looker), but as one portion of the incoming student body admitted to fill available spots expands from taking only the top 1% to the top 2.5%, one might expect to pick up a larger percentage of applicants whose non-academic high school activities went beyond captain of the chess team, student body president, or editor of the school newspaper and now include captain of the cheerleaders or leading actress in the drama club. ::wow::

RBG was indeed quite something while at Cornell

I'm sorry, I should have clarified.  TBH I did notice the white girls in the student section appear to be getting hotter. This happened with the Mets in 86, too.
