Also, 10/21-22 are Friday and Saturday, respectively, not Saturday and Sunday.

Thanks, I can't figure out why I did that.::twak::

The Cornell website and that of Northern Michigan both show Cornell-Northern Michigan as the early game on Dec. 28.

While this season thus far is a pleasant surprise, it's always fun to look to the future to speculate who will be on the schedule next year.
My guess is BU will return to the Garden but the two year cycle with Merrimack and Miami is completed.
Would love to see Cornell play Penn State which would make a lot of sense for both schools. Frankly, Cornell did the Nittany Lions a favor two years
go in their infancy bringing them to MSG which unquestionably was a great recruiting tool for them. Look  who is #1 nationally now.
A visit to New England makes a lot of sense too with such a strong fan base in that area.  Maybe BC, UNH or Lowell.
Then there is Florida which I'd like to see ended. The gloss is off that tourney and getting top teams there is getting harder along with the fact CU
historically does more damage to there ranking than not each year, an example being CC this year. Would love to see us host a tourney over the holidays
like years ago. Might help bring locals and kids back to Lynah during break.
Wondering if anyone at this early date has heard any rumblings about future opponents.

I'd love to see us play Penn State at the Linc in Philly.  Or maybe do a home and home - the two schools aren't very far apart.

Or just at the Wells Fargo Center ... Quick trip from the NYC metro area and not too far from Ithaca itself. Lot of PSU alums and fans in Philly, bet there'd be a great crowd.

PSU plays Princeton at Wells Fargo in about a week, so we'll see what kind of crowd they draw (though I'd imagine that Cornell would do more of its part than Princeton will). It would be crucial to have the game played after the college football season, though.

Oops...that's what I meant.  I wasn't asking for an outdoor game.  Those have been done to death.

We have not done the return visit to Miami, so I suspect there'd be a two game series there next season.

500 mi due west of my home, essentially an interstate straight shot.  Hmm...

Not sure why I thought the Miami matchup had gone two years but you are correct which means we are most likely obligated to visit Miami next season. To balance
of the schedule that means we will likely start another two year home and home series with a new opponent with the first year being at Lynah. I hope it is a Hockey East
team not an Atlantic hockey League team which does us no good in Pairwise rankings. I've come to realize going 1 - 1 in a series against a top opponent is much better than 2 - 0 against a weaker one

Not sure that's so.  If you play and beat an AHA team which loses all of their OOC games, but wins most of their in-conference games, their overall record will still be fairly high, which numerically will help your RPI.

Just noticed that the Feb. 3 game at Union has been pushed back to 8:30 p.m. (Maybe for TV? The Union site lists the game as an American Sports Network broadcast.)

Thanks for the heads up. Since I drive home after the game, it'll make for a late night.::thud::

Game got picked up by TSN2 - Canadian version of ESPN2 - Maybe useful exposure to recruits?
