Brown's Aaron Volpatti set the school record for single-season penalty minutes in the ECACH consolation game Saturday. Volpatti said he mentioned that he was near the record to referee Chip McDonald before the game, and when he took a slashing call late in the third period he asked McDonald if it was worth a 10-minute penalty. McDonald asked if Volpatti wanted a 10-minute penalty, and Volpatti said yes in language that he couldn't repeat. McDonald then served up the 10-minute penalty.

This guy will definitely get my vote for the Nickerson/Syphilis award for TBRW.  One would think that the way he played in Lynah in February, he wouldn't need to beg for a 10 min penalty.
