Anyway, technicalities or not, its nice to see us able to get 2 wins on a road against a bye-team that we couldn't be in the regular season.
Agreed. And I suspect that the experience of having to deal with a first-round series, combined with wins on the road in the quarterfinals, should bring a lot of character to this young team in future years.
And this year.  When Cornell takes the ice Friday, it will be their 6th ECAC playoff game of the season -- their team record (which they will immediately break Saturday).  The long post-season is a 25% bonus in games played over the RS.

And that's without having to go the distance in the Union series **]

We just did... twice in a row. Ok, I know its 'just Union', but they were one of the 4 we couldn't beat.
And depending on what happens tomorrow, we may not have to see any of the other three until next year. ::popcorn::

Fantastic win tonight. Glad we made the trip, and of course we'll be heading back here (well, near here) next weekend.

I was just reading this game thread, and I wanted to comment for those of you planning on doing credit card chargebacks because of the poor B2 product and lack of customer service. While you will get your money back, it almost certainly will not come from B2. Most credit card companies will not bother to start the dispute process for an amount under $10. (For some credit card companies this amount may be even higher--possibly $15 or $20) Instead they will just give it to you, from their own pocket, so to speak. So while you will get the money back, B2 will also get to keep it. So the full affect you are looking for...B2 feeling the loss...won't be achieved.

chargeback obviously isnt the #1 option.  #1 option is for b2 to refund the money, otherwise i will issue a chargeback.  Fact of the matter is that I got to watch about half of the 1st and 2nd period, and none of the 3rd (I got an error message saying I had reconnected too many times, and to contact customer service, which I did and they never responded).  In the end, I want the money to be refunded by $8, but I'll take Citibank giving me the $8 back, as a write-off or not.

I was actually responding more to Trotsky's post, in which he said something like, "If everyone did this, maybe B2 would get the message." I was pointing out that while you guys would (and should) get the money back, B2 would probably never know.

And Trotsky, to file a chargeback you just call your credit card company to start the process. But as I wrote earlier, in this case when you call to start the chargeback they will just give you your money back, instead of starting the chargeback procedure.

For a more significant amount of money, they would take your info, and then, depending on the credit card company, possibly ask you to write up your side of the story. Generally they will credit you the amount while the chargeback is pending. Then, when it is resolved, you keep the credit if it is resolved in your favor. If you lose the chargeback, they just reinstate the initial charge.

i thought he was actually referring to how to request a refund, but I could be wrong.

This is one of the many reasons why I liked Grady Whittenberg.  He made an exciting play sound exciting...no matter which team it benefited.

Anybody that emailed B2 hear back yet on that refund?

Wondering how long I should wait for a response before going ahead with the chargeback.
