For your amusement, an article in this week's Ithaca Times in the Student Survival Guide section:

Good for a few chuckles.

I didn't realize that Ari ran the website. I wonder what happened to Age :)

Hopefully that means Ari is paying for the bandwidth too. :-P

Never let a few errors in fact get in the way of a good story.
- Age runs the eLynah website.
- Ari is no longer the ringer of the Cowbell.
- I did attend all the games the US played at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid. Plus a bunch more.
- We pay a lot for our bandwidth at Computing Center and donate a tiny portion of that bandwidth to Greg at TBRW.

At one time, the Ithaca Times was an authoritative source on Cornell hockey, when, um, "someone else" wrote their articles .... But that was several centuries ago ...

How very nice of you to say that about me, Arthur.

Or did you mean someone else?  :-D

It would also be nice if they could spell words like "cachet" correctly.

Good question. I also wonder who the student was that passed responsibility for the cowbell to Ari. It is like some Cornell Athletics apparatchik had Age deleted from the history of the Lynah Faithful.

Perhaps Laura Stange's underground network is still intact.

Seems like the reporter had easy access to someone that could have corrected those errors. Perhaps the PM clearing things up got lost in the internets.

I certainly wouldn't go blaming Ari.  Newspapers aren't in the habit of giving approval rights on articles to people they interview for them.

Of course if it turns out to be his fault, blame away.

Why not?  Unfounded accusations seem to be all the rage this off-season. :-)

IIRC, Laura's assets were barely under anything... ::uptosomething::
