We're 8 in USCHO. I don't have time to format it right now...

We played like a top-5 team on Friday and a top-20 team on Saturday. Let's hope we play more like the top-5 team this weekend.

Is the thread title to be contrasted with other, more meaningful polls?  :-P

I'm hoping for the top four :)
Is the thread title to be contrasted with other, more meaningful polls?  :-P
No, it is the last of the meaningless polls.

I always get a bit confused at the PWR stuff, so can someone explain to me:

1. How is it possible for Boston to have so many more points than us?  I thought 2 points were awarded per game won, 1 per game tied, and 0 for losing.  Their record shows them winning only 4 games more than us and tying once more, so wouldn't that be ((4x2)+1=)9 points difference?

2. What does LW stand for?  A ranking of likelihood of winning is my best guess, but I really have no idea.

Thanks in advance for helping out a clueless fan :)

In these polls, PWR doesn't matter.  Points are accumulated based on votes gotten from media, coaches, etc.
