I would guess the games are both at home, because (1) aint no way they would go to Findlay (I really, really, really hope) and (2) the games are on back-to-back nights, so I doubt they'd travel.

jtwcornell91

But Findlay and Columbus are only 105 miles apart, so they make reasonable travel partners.

Greg Berge

> So does this mean no Western Michigan?

Not necessarily.  There are only 6 NC games on that provisional schedule (Findlay, OSU, BU, BU, and the 2 tourny games).

Jim Hyla

Cornell Hockey Assoc. newsletter lists the schedule the same with the following exceptions:

No Finday on Sat. Nov.2, no game listed at all.
Western Michigan Away Fri., Sat. Dec. 6,7
Colgate games as listed, still no decision home vs. away.

So I'd say we are pretty certain of 95% of it.

Is the OSU game home or away?

Jim Hyla

Sorry, away.
Meaning, sorry I didn't put it up, not that you might get to see it. In fact with a little luck, I can be in Cleveland that weekend, and drive down. That is, unless Cleveland is a cesspool?;-)

Actually, since we have membership to the R&R Hall of Fame, we will likely be there.

Cleveland is technically a "sewer, " but differentiating between these terms is an academic matter... ;-)

Wow, Jim, you really are a man of many talents. B-]

I was planning to try to make it to that weekend's game(s) home or away.  The major advantage to home would be that more of the rest of you would be there, and I'd already have tickets. ;-) Completely selfishly, I hope we also play Findlay that weekend so I get to see and extra game. :-D

Red-White is @ 7, Sat. Oct. 19
Ohio State is listed as away.
Western Michigan games are listed @ 7.
Still don't know Ex. opp. or Colgate home/away.

Just in case anyone has overlooked it, as I did at first, the away north country trip is a Sat/Sun, not Fri/Sat.

I hope that all of you are CHA members and got your own newsletter with the schedule printed.

Does anyone know why we would travel all the way to Ohio St. and then only play one game?  Why not make it a pair?

DeltaOne81

Ivy League limit - 29 regular season games

ECAC - 11 teams x 2 games/teams = 22 games

29 - 22 = 7 ooc games available

Ohio St + 2*BU + 2*Western Mich + 2*Everblades = 7

My guess it Ohio State was the last addition and they just couldn't add another.

Sure, everyone on eLynah knows that we are playing BU on 11/30 and 12/1 (we've only been talking about it forever), but surely "Boston" isn't enough information for a lot of folks reading the schedule.
