There are three Clarkson guys mentioned in this story if you read down far enough.

All are great guys so I can't imagine anyone here saying anything bad about them.

On second thought...sure I can.  :-D

Conroy has always been one of my favorite NHL players, in part because I generally root for ECAC guys to do well and also because I particularly enjoy his style of play.  He was a big part of Calgary's success in '03-'04 and I watched a lot of Flames games on CenterIce that season.

Dave Taylor was another Clarkson guy I followed throughout his whole NHL career.  I saw him play at UNH in the '75-'76 season (I was living in New Hampshire at the time), and he reminded me of Bobby Hull except without the booming shot - was not at all surprised he had a great career.

IIRC, Taylor held the "modern" (i.e., post-formal creation of D-I) NCAA single season points per game record until Kariya broke it.  Lance Nethery's best season is probably still in the top 10; maybe the top 5. I missed seeing both Nethery and Taylor by only a couple seasons.  :-(

The all-time record is held by a guy from either Middlebury or Army in the early 60's who had ridiculous numbers -- 4 Pts/GP, that sort of wacky thing.  ::help::

Todd White, on the other hand, was always fun to watch (in a dread-inducing sort of way).

I think Taylor also had the one season point record as well, and of course now I cannot remember the number.  :-/
