Without connecting it to this weekend (although perhaps I did on a subconscious level), I picked up Fargo to watch tonight.  Never seen it before, and I've been curious about the whole Coen brothers phenomenon after half-enjoying The Ladykillers.

Anyway, even if the movie is a stretch, it was nice to spend the evening laughing at Minnesotans, yah.

I haven't seen the film, so I don't know if this is relevant, but...Fargo is technically in North Dakota.
Is next year here yet?

Yah, actually it doesn't reely matter that much, seeing as the main character is from Fargo, ya know.

Screw the Coen Bros.  See the 1955 Eeling Pie Studios Ladykillers.

Yes - the 1955 Alec Guiness version of the Ladykillers is far superior to the remake.
