The movie is based on a great hockey book authored by a Harvard Hockey alum.  

Don't let that stop you though, it's a terrific read.

Yep.  But he tells funny stories.  Some of the stuff from his times with European teams are choice. And Marty, on the plus side, you never ever hurt your team by taking a bad penalty.
