Huffington Post ranks Cornell #2 in its list of "Top 10 Colleges with Unique Traditions," citing Dragon Day.  We were beat out by Virginia Tech's annual snowball fight.

Well we tried to combine both of those back in 2001 but I guess the administration did not care for it.

Probably why they won. For them, it's unique.

It snows there.  It's at 2000 feet, it's only about 6 degrees warmer than Ithaca, and it gets more annual precipitation.  About 20 inches of it is white and fluffy.
