Yale does it again, scoring six straight to come back from 1-4 and beat Princeton, 7-4.

UNH and Northeastern tied 4-4.  UNH is just ahead of Cornell in PWR.  Probably won't change much tonight.

North Dakota beat Colorado College in OT.  Cornell was losing the comparison with CC 2-0 (RPI and H2H).  Now 2-1 as Cornell picks up Common Opponents (ND) although ND and CC play again Saturday.

So what's wrong with Team Canada. They almost lost to Slovakia. Won 3-2 but were terrible in the third, giving up 2 goals. Go USA.

Uh, same thing that was "wrong" with the USA in the game vs. Switzerland?  When Canada destroyed Russia? Let's just play the games and see how they play out.

Two and a half goals. Demitra is going to see that last shot in his nightmares for years.

I think the problem with Team Canada is that they are too good. They have too many guys who are used to being "the guy" and are having trouble gelling. When it goes right, they kill the opponent (Russia) but when it doesn't, they have trouble (Switzerland, US, Slovakia). Also, their goaltending hasn't been great.

Or isn't possible that everyone in the tournament is pretty good? I'm not sure you could expect lopsided victories on a regular basis. Anyway, looking only at scores is a pretty lousy way to gauge whether something is "wrong" with a sports team.

Sure everyone is pretty good, but some are definitely playing below potential. My two top for that are Russia and Canada. Why, I don't know. I just hope Canada has another bad game in them.

At least I get to use this emoticon: ::smashfreak::
